The 2026 Dating Profile Report
We analyzed thousands of real dating profiles submitted to our free AI audit and scored every photo against 2026 Tinder, Hinge and Bumble standards. This report breaks down the most common mistakes, the average profile score, the full tier distribution, and what the highest-scoring profiles do differently.
Preview — figures pending. This report is built but not yet populated with real numbers. Run npx dotenv -e .env.local -- npx tsx scripts/generate-audit-stats.ts to aggregate the audit dataset, then remove the noIndex flag. It stays out of search until then.

How profiles score
Every profile gets an overall 0–100 score and a tier. Here's how the field breaks down — the long tail of "Weak" and "Rebuild" profiles is where most people are losing matches.
The most common mistakes
The share of profiles flagged for each issue at least once. These are the fastest things to fix — most cost you matches without you ever knowing.
Populated after the first data run.
Where profiles are weakest
Average score across the six categories every profile is graded on. The lowest bars are the categories most people should focus on first.
What the best profiles do
The green flags that show up most often on high-scoring profiles — the habits worth copying.
Populated after the first data run.
Methodology
Figures are aggregated from completed MatchShot profile audits. Each photo is scored 0–100 by the same model against face clarity, lighting, expression, pose, environment, photo variety and swipe-driving signals. Flag percentages reflect the share of profiles flagged at least once for a given issue. Screenshots and non-photo uploads are excluded from photo counts. Data is anonymised and aggregated — no individual profile is identifiable.
