ProfileSharp Alternatives: 7 Dating Photo Feedback Tools

The best ProfileSharp alternatives are MatchShot for a free full photo review, SwipeBetter for photo feedback plus reply help, and Photofeeler or Keeper for votes from real people. ProfileSharp scores your dating photos with AI and adds a texting helper called Wingman, but its free plan only shows your score and first photo results. This guide compares 7 options on price, billing and the feedback you actually get.

We make MatchShot, so weigh our view accordingly; we've listed where the other tools are stronger.

What is the best alternative to ProfileSharp?

For most people, MatchShot is the best free ProfileSharp alternative: it gives a 0-100 score, per-photo red and green flags and a ranked photo order free, with no account. If you also want texting help, SwipeBetter costs $3 one-time or $13/month. For human votes, Photofeeler and Keeper are free if you rate others (prices as of 4 November 2026).

The right swap depends on which part of ProfileSharp you used. If it was the photo scores, you can replace it for free. If it was Wingman, you need a tool with a reply assistant. If you never trusted an AI's taste in the first place, go to real people.

What does ProfileSharp offer, and how much does it cost?

ProfileSharp has two products: SharpScan, an AI review of your dating photos, and Wingman, an AI chat for dating advice. It says results take about 60 seconds. Each photo gets a score out of 10 plus sub-scores for lighting, composition, attractiveness, authenticity and background, with strengths, weaknesses and a keep or cut call.

Its pricing page listed three plans on 4 November 2026:

  • Starter (free): no credit card, a free profile score and first photo results, and 3 free Wingman messages a day.
  • Flex ($9.99 one-time): 5 profile reviews with a score and feedback for every photo, your #1 photo, the best photo order, bio suggestions based on your photos and an action plan. No subscription, and credits never expire.
  • Premium ($24.99/month): 20 profile reviews and 300 Wingman messages a month, up to 12 photos per review and priority support. It is a subscription you can cancel anytime, and ProfileSharp says unused monthly allowances do not roll over.

Strengths: the Flex pack is a cheap one-time buy at about $2 per review, credits don't expire, the five sub-scores make it easy to see why a photo lost points, and Wingman covers the part after the match, such as what to reply or where to go on a date. ProfileSharp also says your photos are encrypted, not shared and can be deleted anytime.

Why look for a ProfileSharp alternative?

People usually switch for one of four reasons: the free tier is thin, they don't want a subscription, they want human opinions, or they only need one half of the product. None of these mean ProfileSharp is bad. They mean a different tool fits better.

  • The free plan stops early. Feedback on every photo and the photo order are part of the paid plans, so free users see a score and first photo results only.
  • Subscription fatigue. Premium is $24.99/month. If you only refresh your profile a few times a year, one-time or free tools cost less.
  • You want real people. An AI attractiveness score is a model's guess. Human voters, or one reviewer you trust, show how people actually react.
  • You only need photos, or only need texting help. Specialist tools often go deeper on one job.

How did we compare these tools?

We judged each tool on the things that matter when replacing ProfileSharp: price and billing (one-time or subscription), how much you get free, who judges you (AI, strangers or a named person), what it covers, whether it helps with messages, and the main trade-off. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own site or app store listing on 4 November 2026, except RMH, whose ranges are dated October 2026 on its own press page.

We did not run the same photos through every tool, so we don't report scores from one tool against another.

Which ProfileSharp alternatives are worth trying?

Seven options cover everything ProfileSharp does, from free AI photo scores to paid human reviews and texting help. AI tools first, then human ones, then the free tools inside the apps.

1. MatchShot: best free full photo review

MatchShot — MatchShot, a free AI dating profile analyzer that scores your Tinder, Hinge and Bumble photos and tells you what to fix. You upload 3 to 6 photos, plus Hinge prompt or Tinder bio screenshots if you want, and get a report in about 60 seconds.

  • Price (as of Nov 2026): The audit is free. The separate AI dating photo generator uses one-time credit packs (1 photo = 5 credits) with no subscription, free sign-up credits and a money-back guarantee; credits never expire (see MatchShot pricing).
  • Free option: Yes, the full audit, with no account and no credit card.
  • Who judges you: AI, scoring six categories per photo: first impression, photo quality, pose, facial expression, environment and value signal.
  • Covers: A 0-100 profile score with a tier (Excellent, Strong, Okay, Weak or Rebuild), per-photo red and green flags, a ranked lead-photo order (keep, swap or cut), and rewrites of the bio and prompts you screenshot.
  • Texting help: No. MatchShot reviews your profile; it does not write replies to your matches.
  • Best for: Getting the per-photo breakdown and photo order that ProfileSharp keeps for paid reviews, without paying.
  • Watch out for: It is AI, not real people from your target audience, and there is no texting assistant. If you want strangers’ votes, use Photofeeler or Keeper.

Start at the free MatchShot audit. If you need new photos rather than a new order, read whether AI dating photos are allowed on your app first, and keep a real, recent photo of your face on your profile.

2. SwipeBetter: closest match for photo review plus reply help

SwipeBetter — SwipeBetter reads screenshots of your Tinder, Hinge or Bumble profile, gives a 0-100 score, and also has a reply assistant that suggests messages from your chat and your match’s profile.

  • Price (as of Nov 2026): $3 one-time for one full audit or reply fix, $13/month or $79/year for unlimited audits and the reply assistant (as of 4 November 2026, per SwipeBetter’s site). The monthly and annual plans are subscriptions.
  • Free option: Partly. The 0-100 score and your first fix are free with no account, and its site says your first reply set is free with a free account.
  • Who judges you: AI.
  • Covers: Photos, bio, prompts and first impression. The paid report adds photo feedback, rewritten bios, prioritized fixes and photo order suggestions.
  • Texting help: Yes, a reply assistant with tone and goal options.
  • Best for: People who use both halves of ProfileSharp (photo review and Wingman) and want a lower monthly price.
  • Watch out for: It works from app screenshots rather than individual photo files, and the unlimited plans renew until you cancel.
  • Strengths: A cheap one-time option ($3) if you only need one full report, and reply help in the same account.

3. YourMove AI: best if you mainly want a texting wingman

YourMove AI — YourMove AI is a dating assistant built around messages: it writes openers from a profile screenshot, suggests replies, writes bios and offers profile review and AI-enhanced photos.

  • Price (as of Nov 2026): The US App Store lists in-app purchases including Monthly $12.99 and Annual $44.99, plus other tiers from $19.99 to $79.99 (as of 4 November 2026). Prices vary by platform and offer, so check checkout.
  • Free option: Free to download, with paid features behind in-app purchases.
  • Who judges you: AI.
  • Covers: Openers, replies, bios and profile feedback. Photos are a separate product.
  • Texting help: Yes, this is its main focus.
  • Best for: People who used ProfileSharp mostly for Wingman-style message help rather than photo scores.
  • Watch out for: On its App Store page, the developer replied to a review that photos are normally a separate feature from the subscription, so check what your plan includes.
  • Strengths: The widest set of messaging tools in this list, from first opener to keeping a chat going.

4. Photofeeler: best for votes from real people

Photofeeler — Photofeeler shows your photo to other users, who rate dating photos on three traits: smart, trustworthy and attractive.

  • Price (as of Nov 2026): Free if you vote on other people’s photos, or buy Credits to get results faster. Check current Credit prices in the app.
  • Free option: Yes. Its FAQ answers “Is Photofeeler really free?” with “Yep.”
  • Who judges you: Anonymous real people, with filtering that Photofeeler says removes low-quality votes in real time.
  • Covers: One photo per test. No bio, prompt or photo-order review.
  • Texting help: No.
  • Best for: Checking how strangers actually read a lead photo before you commit to it.
  • Watch out for: The free route takes time, and it tests photos one at a time rather than your whole lineup.
  • Strengths: Human trait scores, which no AI model can copy. Photofeeler says your photo becomes private again once a test is done.

5. Keeper photo testing: best for choosing who rates you

Keeper photo testing — Keeper is a matchmaking service with a photo testing tool. You upload the photos you are considering, choose the age and gender of your raters, and get anonymous ratings.

  • Price (as of Nov 2026): Credits. Each rating uses one; you can earn them free by rating other people’s photos or pay to get them faster.
  • Free option: Yes, by rating others.
  • Who judges you: Anonymous real people in the demographic you pick.
  • Covers: Photos only: a normalized 1-10 score per photo plus short written comments, with results you can break down by age, gender and ethnicity.
  • Texting help: No. Keeper lists an AI dating coach as coming soon.
  • Best for: Seeing how one specific audience reacts to your photos.
  • Watch out for: Keeper recommends at least 30 ratings per photo for a stable score, which takes a lot of rating on the free route.
  • Strengths: Audience targeting. Raters see only your photos and age, never your name.

6. RMH (formerly ReviewMyHinge): best explained review from a person

RMH (formerly ReviewMyHinge) — RMH is a marketplace of vetted human reviewers who go through your Hinge, Tinder, Bumble or Raya profile photo by photo and prompt by prompt.

  • Price (as of Nov 2026): Set by each reviewer: written review $20 to $50, video review $49 to $100, live call $70 to $150 (as of October 2026, per RMH’s press page). Booked in its iPhone or Android app.
  • Free option: No.
  • Who judges you: One named human reviewer you choose. RMH says every review is written or recorded by that reviewer, not AI.
  • Covers: Every photo and prompt, pros and cons, suggested changes and four 1-5 scores (looks, personality, uniqueness, charm).
  • Texting help: Some reviewers sell Mock Chat, a day of practice texting ($25 to $75), and Mock Date.
  • Best for: People who have tried AI feedback and want a person to explain the why.
  • Watch out for: Written and video reviews take two to three business days. RMH says a missed deadline is refunded.
  • Strengths: The most personal option here, and the only one with practice dates and texting run by a person.

7. Built-in app tools: best free option inside the apps

Built-in app tools — Hinge, Bumble and Tinder now ship their own free photo helpers, so you may not need a separate tool to decide your photo order.

  • Price (as of Nov 2026): Free, inside each app.
  • Free option: Yes.
  • Who judges you: Each app’s own AI, plus real likes and swipes for photo ordering.
  • Covers: Hinge Top Photo puts the photo its model predicts is most likely to get a Like first, and Hinge Prompt Feedback rates up to three prompts. Bumble Best Photo puts your most popular photo first. Tinder Photo Selector suggests candidates from your camera roll on your device.
  • Texting help: No.
  • Best for: Fine-tuning the order of photos that are already decent.
  • Watch out for: None of them tells you which photo to replace or why a photo is weak. A weak set stays weak.
  • Strengths: Real swipes from your actual audience, and nothing extra to upload.

Sources: Hinge's Top Photo and Prompt Feedback help articles, Bumble's photo upload guide and Tinder's Photo Selector help page. Hinge says Top Photo does not process facial geometry or biometric data, and Tinder says Photo Selector runs entirely on your device.

What about ROAST? ROAST combines a profile review with AI dating photos, and its homepage comparison lists it at $39/month, so it is a bigger step up than a ProfileSharp replacement. We compare it with its own alternatives in ROAST dating alternatives.

Which ProfileSharp alternative is cheapest per review?

Free tools win on cost: MatchShot's full audit, Photofeeler and Keeper (if you rate others) and the built-in app tools cost nothing. Among paid AI options, the maths depends on how often you check your profile. These figures use the prices listed above and ignore taxes and app store fees.

  • One full report: SwipeBetter's $3 one-time fix is the cheapest single paid report here. ProfileSharp Flex works out to about $2 per review, but only if you use all 5.
  • Lots of reviews: ProfileSharp Premium is about $1.25 per review if you use all 20 in a month. SwipeBetter's $13/month and $79/year plans are unlimited.
  • Mostly texting help: YourMove AI lists $12.99/month or $44.99/year on the US App Store, the lowest yearly price in this list.
  • A human opinion: RMH starts around $20 for a written review and runs to $150 for a live call.

Watch the billing type. Monthly and yearly plans renew until you cancel. If you only need a one-off check before a profile refresh, choose a free or one-time option and skip the subscription.

Should you replace ProfileSharp with AI or human feedback?

Use AI to catch obvious problems fast, then use people to settle close calls. AI tools answer in about a minute and reliably flag dim light, clutter, sunglasses or a group shot as your lead. Human voters are slower, but they show how real people react. A simple order works well:

  • Step 1: run a free AI audit and cut the photos with clear red flags.
  • Step 2: test your top two lead-photo candidates with real voters on Photofeeler or Keeper.
  • Step 3: put your best set live and turn on Hinge Top Photo or Bumble Best Photo to let real swipes confirm the order.
  • Step 4: if you're still stuck after a few weeks, pay for one human review.

  • Photofeeler: best free human votes on a single photo.
  • Keeper: best when the age and gender of your raters matter.

  • Built-in app tools: free final check on photo order once your set is solid.

How much does ProfileSharp cost?

Its pricing page lists Flex at $9.99 one-time for 5 profile reviews, with credits that never expire, and Premium at $24.99/month for 20 reviews and 300 Wingman messages a month. Premium is a subscription you can cancel anytime, and unused monthly allowances do not roll over.

What is the best free alternative to ProfileSharp?

For AI photo feedback, MatchShot gives a full per-photo audit and ranked photo order free, with no account. For human opinions, Photofeeler and Keeper are free if you rate other people’s photos.

Is there an alternative to ProfileSharp Wingman?

Yes. SwipeBetter has a reply assistant included in its paid plans, and YourMove AI is built mainly around openers and replies. Check what each plan includes before subscribing.

Is ProfileSharp the same as the .NET profiler?

No. ProfileSharp is also the name of an old open-source .NET performance profiler. This page is about the AI dating profile review service at profilesharp.com.

Can AI photo feedback promise more matches?

No. Any tool can point out weak photos and a better order, but matches also depend on your area, your preferences and who is using the app. Treat scores as a guide, not a guarantee.

Which ProfileSharp alternative should you choose?

Start free: run your photos through MatchShot's audit to see every photo's flags and your best order, then test your top two with real voters if you want a second opinion. Add a texting tool only if conversations, not photos, are where you get stuck. Get your free dating photo review from MatchShot, and see MatchShot pricing if you need new photos.
